SIZE, FIT & CARE

To determine your size accurately, use a flexible, soft measuring tape and always measure while standing in a natural position. Place the measuring tape around your body without pulling it too tightly or leaving it too loose.

  • Bust: measure around the fullest part of your bust.
  • Waist: measure around your natural waistline.
  • Hips: measure around the fullest part of your hips and bottom.

It is important that the measuring tape stays horizontal around your body throughout the measurement.

When choosing your size, always start with your own body measurements. If the garment is made from a stretchy, elastic fabric, it will naturally give a little, but you should still choose the size that is closest to your measured bust, waist and hip measurements. The size chart on the product page will help you choose the right size.

If you are between two sizes and are unsure which one to choose, feel free to contact us – we will be happy to help you choose the right size.

When making your choice, also consider whether the garment is made from a stretchy, elastic material. If you prefer a garment that fits closer to your body, choose the smaller size. If you prefer a looser, more relaxed fit, the larger size may be more comfortable for you.

Yes, of course! We are happy to help you choose the right size by phone, email or Messenger.

Before contacting us, please measure your bust, waist and hip measurements accurately. This allows us to compare your measurements with the measurements of the garment you are interested in and help you find the most suitable size.

Of course, we can help! By phone, we can measure the exact length of a particular garment for you if you tell us your height.

In special cases, it may also be possible to make certain styles in a longer version. So please feel free to contact us using any of our available contact details, and we will help you find the right style and size.

We recommend that you wash the garment before having it shortened or altered. Some fabrics may change in length by one or two centimetres during washing.

For this reason, it is best to have your trousers, top or dress altered after washing, once you have checked the final length.

Put the trousers on and adjust them properly around your waist, exactly as you normally wear them. Also put on the type of shoes you would normally wear with those trousers.

Then ask someone to help you adjust the length to your preferred position. Fold the trouser leg up to the desired length and secure it with a pin. While doing this, do not lean forwards or backwards – stand in a natural position.

Once the desired length has been pinned, walk around in the trousers for a little while and check whether they are still comfortable when moving and whether they have become too short.

This will help you determine much more accurately which trouser length is ideal for you.

We recommend taking garments made from elastic, stretchy fabrics to a professional seamstress or a tailor/alteration service.

Because these materials stretch, they require a special type of stitching. It is best to use a machine that allows both the stitch and thread to follow the elasticity of the fabric. These machines are known as coverstitch machines.

For a neat, durable and flexible finish, we therefore recommend having trousers or other elastic garments shortened by a professional seamstress or alteration service.

In the product descriptions, we generally indicate whether a particular style is close-fitting, relaxed, loose, A-line or oversized.

  • Close-fitting: a narrower style that follows the shape of the body more closely.
  • Relaxed fit: does not cling tightly to the body and has a more comfortable, looser cut.
  • Loose fit: a particularly relaxed and roomy style.
  • A-line: narrower at the top and gradually widening towards the bottom.
  • Oversized: a very loose, relaxed style intentionally designed to create a larger silhouette.

It is always worth taking these descriptions into account when choosing a garment and also checking the product photos to see how the style fits.

In many cases, we also provide the exact measurements of a particular size in centimetres, measured with the garment laid flat. You can compare these measurements with a similar garment you already own, which can make it easier to decide whether the style and size will be suitable for you.

Yes, we generally provide the exact garment measurements in centimetres. For one-size garments, for example, we may give the bust and hip measurements when the garment is laid flat and folded in half, as well as the garment length. In many cases, we also provide the arm circumference and sleeve length.

This makes it easy to compare the measurements at home with one of your own tops, trousers or dresses. Simply lay your own garment flat on a bed or table, measure the same points and compare them with the measurements listed for the product.

This can make it much easier to decide whether the garment is likely to fit you.

Women with an hourglass figure often have relatively defined waists together with fuller bust and hip lines, which creates naturally feminine proportions.

Close-fitting and body-skimming tops can beautifully emphasize the waist, but you certainly do not have to give up looser styles. For example, you can confidently combine a fitted top with wide-leg, straight-leg or looser trousers.

Waist-defining dresses, blouses and tops can also be very flattering. V-necklines and feminine necklines can beautifully highlight the proportions of your figure. With dresses, styles that are fitted at the waist, gently follow the body or gradually widen into an A-line can work very well.

The most important thing, however, is not to choose your clothes based solely on your body shape. If you love loose, oversized or sporty styles, wear them with confidence – your personal style is just as important as what you are supposedly “meant” to wear.

A pear-shaped figure is generally characterised by a narrower shoulder and bust area, while the hips and thighs are fuller. In this case, it can be helpful to create a little more emphasis on the upper body and create a more balanced overall look.

For tops, you do not necessarily have to choose very loose styles. A beautiful, more noticeable neckline, such as a V-neck or a deeper neckline, can naturally draw attention towards the upper body. If you like shoulder pads or more structured shoulder details, these can also work very well because they can visually broaden the shoulder line.

Slightly flared, A-line and longer tops can also be good choices, as they follow the body nicely while giving the hip area enough room. For trousers, you can choose a narrower or straighter cut, which can help balance the fuller hip line.

The idea is to confidently draw attention towards your shoulders, neckline and upper body, while choosing a lower-body style that makes you feel comfortable and confident.

An apple-shaped figure is generally fuller around the middle of the body, particularly around the stomach and waist. When dressing, it can therefore be helpful to create an overall look that draws attention towards the shoulders, neckline and legs.

However, this does not necessarily mean choosing very loose clothes or strongly A-line styles. Although these may seem more comfortable at first, too much fabric around the stomach and waist can sometimes make the silhouette appear fuller.

A slightly longer top with a relaxed, body-skimming fit can be a good choice. It should not cling to the stomach, but it should not be excessively loose either. For trousers, you can choose a narrower or straight-leg style, while tops, necklines and distinctive details can be used to draw attention towards the shoulders and neckline.

But here too, the most important thing is: do not dress according to rules – dress in the way that makes you feel good! The best style is the one in which you feel comfortable, feminine and confident.

We generally use the term super-stretch for trousers. These fabrics are highly elastic, follow the shape of the body well and still provide good support.

If you like trousers that fit beautifully to your body while also providing a little shaping and support, look for super-stretch jeans, bengaline or twill trousers.

Thanks to their high elasticity, they are comfortable, adapt easily to the shape of the body and do not lose their shape easily during wear. This means they can maintain their fit even after being worn for longer periods.

If you love trousers that are comfortable, supportive and gently shaping, super-stretch styles are made for you.

More and more people are looking for garments made from natural materials, especially during warmer weather, when breathable and comfortable fabrics become even more important.

That is why we try to offer as many garments as possible made from cotton, linen and viscose in our collections. These fabrics feel pleasant against the skin, provide comfortable wear and can be particularly enjoyable during the summer months.

You can always find the exact fabric composition in the product description, so you can easily check what materials a garment is made from before purchasing.

If natural fabrics are important to you, always check the composition – and we will continue to do our best to offer you as many of these garments as possible.

The fabric composition shows which materials a garment is made from. You can always find this information on the small label inside the garment, with the exact percentages listed.

Since most garments are made from a blend of several materials, the label specifies exactly what percentage of each material is present in the product.

It is always worth checking this small label so you know exactly what materials your chosen garment is made from.

You will always find the washing and care instructions on the care label inside the garment. It is worth following these instructions carefully, as this will help you maintain the garment’s appearance and condition for as long as possible.

Above all, however, the most important thing is to take good care of your clothes.

  • Very elastic, stretchy sweaters and tops should ideally be laid flat to dry after washing so that they do not stretch out.
  • Avoid putting stretchy trousers in the tumble dryer whenever possible. If you do use a tumble dryer, do not dry them completely.
  • Using a laundry bag can be very useful for many garments, especially more delicate fabrics.
  • Do not overfill the washing machine. It is better to wash smaller loads.
  • Pay attention to drying as well. If you shake the garment out properly after washing, smooth it into shape and hang or lay it correctly, you may often not need to iron it at all.

With a little care, you can preserve the beautiful shape and condition of your favourite clothes for much longer.

Yes, you can, but some garments – especially those made from very elastic, stretchy fabrics – do not respond well to being dried completely until they are “bone dry” in a tumble dryer.

For these garments, it is better to use the tumble dryer for a shorter time, then remove the garment, shake it out, reshape it and gently stretch it back into place. After that, lay it flat and allow it to finish drying naturally.

Always check the care label inside the garment and follow the drying instructions provided there.

Knitted sweaters require particular care if you want them to remain beautiful for a long time. If washing them in a washing machine, preferably use a 30°C delicate programme, and if possible, do not put them in the tumble dryer.

A tumble dryer can put more stress on knitted sweaters, increase pilling, and can also cause loose fibres and fluff to come away from the fabric.

After washing, the best option is to dry the sweater flat. You can even lay it flat on top of the tumble dryer, carefully arranged in its original shape. It is important not to allow it to stretch in any direction under its own weight or because of the moisture. Reshape it carefully and leave it to dry in that position.

If you treat them this way, your knitted sweaters can retain their shape, softness and colour for a long time.

There are now many colour-protecting detergents specially designed for coloured clothing. It is worth using a detergent made specifically for coloured garments, as this can help preserve their beautiful, vibrant colours for longer.

A colour-catching laundry sheet can also provide additional protection during washing. It captures some of the colour released during washing and reduces the chance of garments transferring colour onto one another.

New, strongly coloured garments should ideally be washed separately during the first few washes. It is also important to sort your clothes by colour whenever possible.

With a little extra care, you can preserve the original, beautiful colour of your favourite clothes for much longer.

Help by phone, email and Messenger: 8:00–16:00.

Not necessarily. With new products there's no guarantee that every cut is available in every size.

Our Hungarian-made items are generally produced from size L up to 4–5XL. Supersize products, on the other hand, tend to come in the larger sizes, up to 6–7XL.

Sizing can vary from cut to cut, though. Some models start at the smaller sizes, while other cuts — a looser tunic, for example — are made from the larger sizes, say from 2XL all the way up to 5–6XL.

So it's always worth checking the available sizes shown on the product itself, and if you're unsure, just get in touch — we're happy to help!

If you don't want to request an exchange parcel, or you haven't found another item you'd happily swap it for, you can post the product back to the following address:

SYLVERRO Kft. · 2143 Kistarcsa, Baross Gábor utca 11. · +36 30 267 8182

If you'd rather exchange the item, it's worth asking for an exchange parcel — that way you don't have to go to the post office at all: the courier collects the garment you're sending back and hands over the new item in its place.

If you return a product, we have up to 14 days from the parcel arriving back with us to refund the price of the item.

The cost of return postage is covered by the customer, so the refund we transfer is the purchase price of the returned product.

You can give us the details we need for the refund in several ways:

  • Fill in a withdrawal declaration and put it in the parcel you send back.
  • You can also send the withdrawal declaration by email.
  • If you'd rather not bother with that, simply write your name and bank account number on a piece of paper and pop it into the returned parcel.

That way the details we need for the refund are sure to reach us, and we can transfer the price of the product back to you.

STYLE & FASHION

By classic style we mainly mean garments you can easily wear to work, to the office or simply day to day. It means simpler, easy-to-combine basics and cuts that aren't too out-there — pieces that are timeless, comfortable and suitable for all sorts of occasions.

This is the kind of classic elegance that leaves you looking smart and well put together, without necessarily standing out from the crowd. These are clothes you feel good in, that are easy to mix and match, and that you can comfortably wear through a whole working day.

The great advantage of classic style is that it doesn't go out of date from one season to the next, so well-chosen pieces will stay with you for years. If you like simple, feminine, easy-to-wear clothes, this style is probably close to your heart.

For us, on-trend fashion means always doing our best to bring you the most fashionable cuts, colours and styles of the current season.

With our own collections we keep a constant eye on how fashion is changing, and design and make our new pieces accordingly. Alongside that, we also hand-pick special items for you, sourced from as far afield as Italy or Denmark.

If you love dressing fashionably and it matters to you that your wardrobe keeps up with the current trends and the mood of the season, you're sure to find exciting pieces in the on-trend fashion category.

Because we think fashion is about finding the pieces among today's trends that are truly you.

New collections are arriving and being made all the time. Sometimes we show new pieces weekly, sometimes every two or three weeks — it depends a great deal on what we're making, how time-consuming the production is, and which season we're in.

When the seasons change we usually prepare a larger, completely new collection all at once, but we also try to keep showing you new cuts throughout the year.

In the meantime we of course re-make our tried-and-tested favourites whenever they sell out, so the arrival of new items often depends on the capacity of our workshop and on the production process too.

So it's worth keeping an eye on the webshop and our new arrivals, because we've always got something in the works!

Yes, absolutely! Italian fashion is famous the world over for its distinctive cuts, its feminine style and its fashion-forward feel.

It's worth knowing, though, that the label "Italian fashion" on its own doesn't automatically mean high quality. You'll also find lower-quality items on the market that are merely Italian in style or come through Italian trade channels, where the lower price can go hand in hand with weaker quality.

At SYLVERRO we don't pick pieces like that. We do our best to choose Italian products for you that combine fashionable design, proper quality and good value for money.

It matters to us that we can say, hand on heart, about everything we offer you: you can buy this with confidence.

The name SYLVERRO carries an obligation — which is why we're not willing to compromise on quality.

In hot weather it's definitely worth favouring cotton, linen and viscose fabrics. They're pleasant to wear, they breathe well, and they help your skin feel more comfortable in the heat.

Go for looser-cut tops, trousers and dresses that don't cling to your body. Air can circulate more easily under a looser cut, which makes wearing them far more pleasant on hot days.

In really hot weather, light, airy fabrics and comfortable, looser cuts are the best choice.

Yes — in fact, we'd love you to! We're always delighted when you write and tell us which cuts, fabrics, colours or patterns you'd like to see in our next collections.

Customer feedback is very important to us, because you're the one wearing our clothes day in, day out, so we can learn a great deal from your experiences and your ideas.

Do write and tell us what you feel is missing, what you'd like to see in the range, or even which cut has worked really well for you!

We keep learning and improving thanks to your feedback.

Yes — we do our best to look after customers who are searching for extra-large sizes too!

Sizes 6–7–8XL aren't usually made in large quantities, but we produce certain cuts in these sizes separately, in smaller runs. We often pick the cuts our customers love most for this, and make them in several colours and patterns.

That way you still have a good chance of finding the right piece for you, even when only a few are made in the larger sizes.

And if you can't find something in your size, do let us know! Give us a call or send us a message saying which cut you'd like in a larger size — and if we possibly can, we'll make it for you.

Absolutely! Our shops are staffed by genuinely knowledgeable, experienced clothing professionals, many of whom have been with us for more than ten years.

They know our products, our cuts and our sizing, so they can often tell at a glance which size and cut will flatter you.

Do try on several different cuts, ask our colleagues for their opinion, and let them help you put together the outfit that's right for you.

Come and see us — we'll dress you, we'll help you, and you'll have a lovely time while you're at it!

If you can, it's worth coming to see us in person, because in the shop you can try the clothes on and our colleagues will help you choose the size and cut that suits you.

If the distance means you can't get to us, you can order from the webshop with complete confidence. Measure your bust, waist and hip first, and if you're unsure, you can always ask for help over the phone. We're happy to advise you on which cut to choose for your figure, your size and your own style.

Whether you shop in person or online, our aim is the same: that you choose a garment you feel truly good in.

Very much so! A sale price doesn't mean the product is of lower quality or that there's anything wrong with it.

Items usually go into the sale because sizes have run low and only one or two — or just a handful — are left in our shops. At that point we want to clear the remaining stock quickly, since new collections and new cuts are arriving all the time.

So it's worth keeping an eye on our sales, because you can often pick up a good-quality favourite at a really attractive price — there are simply fewer sizes or pieces left.

If you find your size in a sale favourite, it's worth snapping it up, because it may not be around for long!

Italian stock arrives almost continuously — sometimes we get a new delivery weekly, sometimes every week or two.

We've built excellent relationships with our Italian partners, so we keep a constant eye on what's available, and whenever we find a really good, special or on-trend piece we'd love to see you wearing, we order it.

So it's worth dropping into the webshop regularly, because new Italian cuts and new arrivals are coming in all the time!

Of course! We've been working with this brand for more than 15 years, so we know their products and their quality well.

Enzi products are good quality, they have a distinctive style, and the cuts are excellent. They sit in a slightly higher price bracket, but in return you get a more special look and a style all of your own.

This is a company with serious professional expertise — they really understand tailoring lines, cuts and fashion.

If you're after something a little more special and good quality matters to you, Enzi products are well worth trying.

If you spot a fault on an item you've bought, or a problem arises during washing or normal everyday use, do get in touch with us!

It's important not to try to repair it yourself — let us know about the problem first. We'll look into what may have caused it and do our best to find the best possible solution.

If the problem is down to a material or manufacturing fault, we'll of course help put it right. Where possible we'll repair the item, and if that isn't feasible, we'll arrange a replacement.

If anything does go wrong, don't struggle on alone — let us know and we'll do our best to help!

OCCASIONWEAR

If you're going to a wedding as an invited guest, it's always worth checking the dress code on the invitation first, as it tells you a lot about the style and colour of outfit to choose.

Weddings are held in all sorts of settings these days: on a beach, by the water, in an elegant restaurant, in a barn or even in a stable. The venue and the mood of the wedding are therefore an important consideration when you're choosing what to wear.

For a more formal wedding you might go for a feminine occasion dress, while for a more relaxed, outdoor wedding a lighter, more comfortable — but still smart — outfit could be ideal.

If you're unsure what to choose, write to us or give us a call! We're happy to help you find an outfit that suits the occasion, your figure and your own personal style.

If you're attending a big wedding as the mother of the bride or groom, or as a close relative, it's worth planning for two or even three changes of outfit during the day. The church ceremony, the dinner and the celebrations that run late into the night each call for something different.

For the church we generally recommend a more classic, elegant outfit — a beautiful occasion dress with a blazer, for example. Here you can happily go for something with a bit of sparkle, something really dressy, or even a piece in gorgeous brocade.

For the dinner it's worth choosing something a little more understated but more comfortable, because as the mother of the bride or groom — or as a close relative — you may have a great deal to do and plenty of guests to look after.

And when the dancing starts and carries on until dawn, bring out something really comfortable that you can move in. At that point you can happily think about a cut you can wear with comfortable flats or even a pair of soft slippers.

The most important thing is to feel beautiful all day long and comfortable at the same time — because the celebration should be about you too!
